Hells Angel

Today at lunch a colleague was telling me about how in his home city in Vietnam everyone was surprised when a short man (around 1.5 metres) landed a prestigious job at an American University. He said in Vietnam you are judged much more on your appearance than your ability to do a job, and then even a good performance once you're in the job will not often overcome your physical failings.

I can well believe it, but I politely pointed out that's not how we operate in our organisation...
