Skylark IX engine

This is the Lister 6 cylinder Diesel engine that powered the Skylark IX . Over the last few months since lifting her from the bottom of the river Leven we have been clearing the silt and debris from the inside of the boat.

Today we managed to hoist the engine up in preparation for it being removed and taken to the nautical college where hopefully the genius's there will restore it .
