First Hellebores

It’s Spring! Well, perhaps not on the calendar or according to the weather, but the hellebores have started to bloom and that marks the beginning of the garden. We have hundreds of hellebores: tall ones, short ones, species, hybrids, pink, maroon, near black, white, green, almost yellow, singles, doubles, spotted, plain, downward facing, outward facing, yellow, green, purple nectaries, the range is astonishing. So expect to see many a hellebore photo over the next few weeks.
