Urban Shapes

There are so many brand new buildings in this town! This is a commercial complex next to the Ballard Library where we went to hear an opera preview talk about Menotti’s “The Consul” coming up at Seattle Opera. The 1950 opera, which we’ve never seen, sounds very “gloomy” and also timely in today’s world. A rather nice day today, this is simply shapes (and stripes!) which appealed to me - captured in illustration mode with the Sony. I think that is a water tank on the left….it's a "green building.
