I've been using Macs for years. I moved away from window boxes ages ago because of frustrations brought about by trying to make simple things work, like connecting a printer or creating a network. I guess things have improved since those days.

Today, I offered to help out a friend whose mac has 'spinning beachball' syndrome. Although I had a busy day ahead I thought I'd sort it in a few mins.

The result? Hardly anything on my list is ticked off and the damn thing still refuses to play ball -- it's like stepping back in time 20 years.
