Furry Baseball fan

It was baseball practice today. Right after leading the girl scout meeting at my house and before a psychologist appointment and two soccer practices. Wednesday are highly caffeinated for me.

I spotted this kitty way out past the outfield. She sat for the longest time watching the boys play baseball. She finally slowly slinked a few yards and sat some more. For a whole hour. We wondered if she was pregnant. She's awfully big! So then for the next half an hour us moms sat in the bleachers, sharing allllllll our dramatic birthing stories. One had four kids with emergency c-sections, another was surprised with "Irish twins" .... I suppose we bonded. Probably won't even see each other after the last game next Sunday. And hardly even talked the last 9 practices/games.

Tomorrow, my hubby and I are running away! For like 30 hours - straight - to Carpinteria. Alone! He's checked out all the things to do in the area. Found a bird sanctuary, an art museum, a play, the beach.....or sleep!
