Memorial to John Morland
A very moving Memorial Meeting was held today in the Quaker Meeting House in Street, to celebrate the life of John Morland who, among many other talents, was a very good artist. His family had arranged a display of many of his paintings on the walls of the middle room of the Meeting House, with many souvenirs laid out on the table you see in this picture.
(John was my third cousin - we shared great-great-grandparents, James and Eleanor Clark.)
