Lots Wife

Today was the last day at work for one of my colleague who drives our mobile youth project. I decided to meet him at the highways site where it is parked up. I was struck by the pile of salt lying in wait for the bad weather and all the gritters stood to attention ready to spring into action at ta moments notice. Ironic that our county almost ran out of salt a couple of years ago, yet this year when we have it in abundance, it will probably stay untouched until.. Quite a boring photograph sorry, but it seems quite ironic, and I bet we don't get a rate reduction for not using it and therefore saving the council money!!!!
