Weird North West Cuisine

Thanks for all your lovely comments for yesterday's blip. Yesterday and today have been quite emotional days but some nice spots too.

Have spent the day wandering round Manchester. Been nice to get to low the city again and work out the lay out. Me and my chum Debs have found a flat - it's really great in an old converted church on the edge of castle fields. Sure will feature lots in future.

This blackboard was in a wee cafe today. I know we like gravy in the north west but I have never yet heard of peas on toast with gravy?!!! WTF? Is this normal Manchester folk?

With my Mum and Dad and sister tonight. Lots of laughing and tears as well. Suspect this could be a theme.
