Year Two, Day Thirty - Mellow Yellow

Mellow - that's what Aonghus is like tonight! The bandage was still on this morning when I got up so I took him for a quick walk then it was off to the vet for 10am. They kept him in so they could sedate him to clip his fur, clean the wound, stitch it up and dress it.

The cut was about 3/4" deep and when I went back for him the vet said she had to put 2 stitches in the deepest part of the cut to hold it all together then 5 stitches across the cut. She also said he was a model patient - must have been the drugs!!!!

Short walks on the lead for the next wee while - he'll be bouncing off the walls!!!!! I also need to put a thick bag over the bandage so it doesn't get wet! My poor wee boy!
