Blipping Hell

We went to Brighton today in the hope of seeing the Starling murmuration over the pier, we waited and waited and in the end decided to leave as there was no sign of any starlings. I jokingly said to my son that as we were driving along the front the starlings would be swooping over the pier, as I turned onto the main road and looked over to the pier, yes you guessed it there were hundreds of starlings flying over the pier, there was traffic all around and nowhere to park and my camera was in the boot of the car, so no blip of the murmuration just a lone seagull.
