Colourfalls

Who can say where pinks and creams
Start and end
So gently brushed and blended
Are they on
These colourfalls
Of sweeping curves
Opening to the light.

I practised some macro shots with the tripod this afternoon to achieve clear, sharp focus on some flowers Tom bought me. Instead, I got distracted by the abstractness of these lovely lily petals. It would be better with a softer focus background but my editing technique wasn't up to it without spoiling the subject.
