The injunction seemed superfluous, when the entire car park had been swallowed by the encroaching lake. Lake Bala or Llyn Tegid ('fair lake', I guess) was already the largest body of natural water in Wales before Telford raised the level to support the Ellesmere Canal. On this Sunday afternoon it was larger still.
