R is for Reflecting River Roped Researchers
At the Foodbank today covering for school holidays.
Roadworks delay - late to meet MT.
Met friend MT and tucked into a good feed at Mackenzies before heading to Cramond for red berries, or maybe river, or maybe rocks... Coming down School Brae to park when 3 folk standing and chatting didn't see us, MT shouted out 'ROADKILL'. We laughed, but laughed even more because we think the folk heard us, then MT's cheeks went all red with a rush of embarrassment.
So I did get a few photos in between the raindrops. ;-)
Spotted the men working in the River Almond just at the Weir, drilling into the rock to check it's stability.
I know there was talk of removing the Weir at some point, but its been there for over 300 yrs and see no logic in taking it away. (Rant Over)
Glad the guys were roped up as the river was in spate. Didn't realise I had a wee reflection going on with their kit until on computer, so another R :-D
