Stopped for two minutes without phones today at work to remember those who lost their lives fighting in the First World War. The office can be unbelievably quiet sometimes.

You get so bogged down with bad communication, things changing (not necessarily for the better), budget cuts, not getting deposits refunded for cancelled places at Christmas Party, mugs not being washed at the tea point, not actually having a proper kitchen to wash mugs, the vending machine charging 10p extra for a bag of crisps, the office is too cold, the office is too warm...

Then, on days like today, you realise... none of it really matters.
