Bare beauty

The view all around me, in the snow falls that never seem to stop. This feels to me to be such a stark, barren landscape, beautiful but lonely; which is rather how I feel right now- so far away from my family and friends with so much weight on my shoulders.
But on second look, this landscape may be empty of human life but it is full of trees still standing strong, trees that will sprout leaves in the spring. The significance is not lost on me. Maybe I am stringer than I think. Maybe there is support nearby but I just have not found it yet.
