Synchronized Preening!

Another grey day and my first visit to James Hamilton Park for a couple of weeks. Most of the birds were well out on the loch and too far away for my camera. I wasn't too disappointed though because the large (!) cygnets were busy with their morning routine. That's the first time I have seen them without the parent swans who were just within sight at the far end of the loch. The suppleness of these young swans necks is amazing.
