The Dome of St. Peter's

One of the largest churches in the world, St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican City has great views from the dome. This is a view of the dome itself where we took a moment before climbing the next set of stairs.
Surprisingly this isn't actually a Cathedral as it is not the seat of a bishop. The bishop of Rome (aka the Pope) has his official seat in St John Lateran, the Papal Archbasilica.
