Fern Ridge Reservoir

The Willamette River is quite high due to the persisting rainfall and the snowmelt runoff from the Cascade Mountains.

The local kayak club reports the Fern Ridge Reservoir is filling rapidly as no water is being released from the reservoir in order to prevent flooding downstream on the Willamette River.

We took a ride out to the Oak Hill Cemetery for the beautiful panoramic view of the Fern Ridge Reservoir that it offers.
