ON THE ROCKS

I have liked to stack rocks like this for years. I read that they are an Inuit invention called inoosook, meaning in place of a person. Used to mark their cache, so they can find it in the deep snow. I like this, and have posted sentinels along the creek. Maybe I just like rocks?
