AOG Speed Skating

Faster in large.

These athletes put up record speeds today in the long track event. Sven came in just two tenths of a second ahead of Scotty... I'm not sure how it could be much closer than that! Spectators seemed to be holding their breath as they crossed the finish line. A nice performance from Team Swan yet again!

Later, Sven was seen celebrating his win by doing the giant wing dance.

Oddly, the finals of the short track race included not only the Swans, but a Golden-eye Duck... talk about a size difference! But that duck really held his own and they finished neck and neck. That's one speedy duck! Something like that could only happen here at the AOG! ;-)

Hubs finished the roof tonight...he stuck to it even after it had turned dark. (Not sure he's gonna be able to move for the next few days.) Tomorrow, I'll start on the roof snow that is now on the ground... Gotta get that away from the house. But, I think we'll give Hubs the day off... it will be his birthday after all. :)
