Progress

We took our dogs on their walk this morning. Usually we go down by the river, but today we walked around our neighborhood. Its fascinating to see the changes in our community even in the short time we’ve been here, especially with all the new construction. In one way, Cuenca has retained its centuries-old charm and in another, it’s a booming metropolis. The city seems to have found a balance in valuing both the past and progress.
