Technique Challenge 18. Creative use of DOF
DDW's February 2014 Alphabet Challenge - Q is for Querflöte (explained below)
Here's the latest noise that has joined the cacophony of Noel's hi-fi, dogs squealing in play and Liam shouting into the xbox live. Sonja has started playing the flute and it is a very pleasant sound indeed!
Technically, an open aperture in order to create a shallow (creative?) depth of field, one of the techniques I use a lot anyway :) My Q is for Querflöte, which is the German word for flute. The advantages of being multilingual!
Long day, still not had time to catch up on my comments, but will do soon, I promise :)
Panicking slightly at the moment as I have so much to do and so little time for it. On top of looking after 2 kids, three dogs and 2 demanding jobs,
- ripping off wallpaper in my corridor which looks like a building site
- forming little rings out of masses of tangled old barbed wire so I can take it all to the dump and our house doesn't look like a dump
- Putting up quite a lot of new fencing
- Ripping out dead stuff from the garden
- Digging my new flower patch which is quite long
- Clearing out a huge shed in order to build my photo studio and Marielle's print room
I wish days had at least double the amount of hour, and I wish I had a big glass of wine. At least one of these wishes will come true yet today though!
