Strike a Pose

Orla had a school disco tonight. I realised rather belatedly that she didn't really have anything suitable to wear. It's either full-on party dresses or jeans and t-shirts in her wardrobe. So I did a bit of shopping for her today. A whole new outfit - dress, tights, shiny shoes, a sequinned purse and a butterfly hairband. I had a moment of blind panic when I heard that trains were being cancelled this afternoon and thought I wasn't going to get home in time. But I did, and she was delighted.

She loved the disco and said it was great fun. Apparently she won a lollipop for dancing. She showed us her dance moves. They were, um, interesting.

She also wore her Frozen necklace. She is totally obsessed with Frozen and keeps watching the video of "Let It Go", both the version from the film and the Demi Lovato single. She is avidly awaiting it becoming available for download on iTunes.
