Simple

When your mind is busy navigating, or consumed by the effort that goes into struggling up a hill, or you stop to watch the clouds lift and the landscape revealing itself, when you finally stop, utterly exhausted…there is no room for all the complicated stuff.

I would never describe anything I do as 'sport' - probably scarred by school PE lessons - but yeah, simple is good.
