Sick

Took Sam and friend swimming today and at one point they were told to get out of the very busy pool. I looked on in amazement as the bottom of the pool was raised to the level of the floor, several lifeguards scrubbed it clean with broom-like -things and then it was lowered and refilled.

This is a picture with the bottom still at floor level, just as it was starting to be refilled.

It was very impressive given the quantities of water involved, as it took only 10-15 minutes to complete the operation. Transpired that some child had been sick....
