Hurrah for rain ...

Chester dropped off at his hotel first thing and we headed up to the lakes. We made the most of the sunshine this morning and had a lovely lunch in Baldrey's in Grasmere.

Then it started to rain! Yes!! I secretly did the rain dance in the shower this morning - not that it needed much persuading!

We checked in to our hotel and spent 3 hours in the spa - heaven! Think we would have felt bad using the spa if it had been a gloriously sunny day!

Now all glowing, if a little wrinkled, we are looking forward to a lovely dinner!
