2's company, 3's a crowd

Today was a dry day and as it's the last day of half term decided to take jnr to Calgary Bay. As we arrived a car was pulling out so we were the only ones there.

A huge sandy beach, home to a flock of common gulls, oystercatchers, grey lag geese and had a close encounter with a great northern diver. Otter here too.

A lovely picnic and a great way to spend the day.
