Fly Fishing by J. R. Hartley

This specimen is left over from the one and only time I went fly fishing. In reflection I think I should have read that famous book by J. R. Hartley because I never had a bite let alone caught one. A friend had forked out £20 each for an afternoons fly fishing and neither of us had any luck. I was just glad that he had paid.

We could have bought some nice trout from the fish mongers for £40.
