In the follow up to the look out Storm makes an appearance. Emily and Grace had run outside to hide when I picked up their harnesses. There was tension between the girls so they had to wear muzzles as a precaution during the drive to the other side of the woods to yesterday. By the time we arrived they were well behaved again so muzzles removed :)

We followed some of my favourite paths today in a part of the woods not accessible to bicycles, horses and pushchairs. It was fairly muddy but manageable in wellies. The pups did so well jumping streams, scaling fallen trees and negotiating deep puddles.

Near the end of the walk there is a stream to cross with a cut stump to climb over. Grace and Emily followed my example of climbing over it. Storm jumped in the stream instead with a big splash and scrambled out looking shocked. He cleared the next one with a massive leap. I think they were pleased to see the car again to return to their warm cosy basket.

Another sleepover tonight. The sound of giggling is keeping the pups from their afternoon snooze...
