Birthday cake

The group on top of the temple down from chennai to celebrate the birthday of one of them, Mahmoud, who likes to celebrate his birthday in a different place every year. This year was Mamallapuran and so they were on the hill wandering about with a, rather large, birthday cake and passing slices out (whilst apologising for their lack of tissues) to whoever they bumped into....very nice it was too, a kind of sweet cherry chocolate cake...

And how odd to be eating it in a ruined temple on top of a hill...
