Building blocks

So much to get done and I hear the clock ticking constantly. Went into town early today to run a million errands. It was very quiet as the shops were not all open when I arrived.
I was struck by this building which seems to give the impression of being grand but clearly no one is giving it any TLC anymore.
I realised I like looking at buildings and how they are put together and their quirky features. I went on a ghost walk round town with my lovely best friends a while ago and had several features on buildings pointed out that I had never LOOKED up at before. How sad that we miss these little details that someone put so much effort into.

R had his first day on the new job and all seems to be going well. Fingers crossed. ;-)
