Holga Digital SLR

The Holga digital SLR project is finished! Well, for now at least. I may have to complete some quality assurance actions in the future.

Here, I have detailed 'How to Build a Holga Digital SLR Camera'.

So today I traveled around Anchorage and experimented with the Holga digital. There is a carnival in town for the summer solstice. The ferris wheel above and this other view are part of this kiddy carnival.

The near distance of the lens is about two feet, see here. The vignetting worked out OK with the optional vignetting device, example.

With the soft focus and vignetting, the feel of the digital Holga images are quite nostalgic, and closely resemble the real thing, makes me want to go back to film.

I also built an extension tube for a macro option for the Holga lens, I will show it to you soon.
