Same road but a very different floral display. I am guessing that this depicts the fairytale about the adventures of a donkey, a dog, a cat and a cockerel. The Tale of the Bremen Town Musicians is popular in Europe. Bit of a surprise to see it here in the city centre. Although, as Kobe is promoting itself as THE most international city in Japan, maybe it is the perfect choice? Hard to believe that there are many cities of a million plus people where this kind of display would survive unscathed.

There's always room for a story that can transport people to another place.
