Planning and Preparation

Next week I am starting work with 60 Year 5 children in Sunderland. Over 6 weeks the pupils are making a heritage banner. The first session will involve al 60 pupils trying 6 different textile techniques: quilting, appliqué, proggy matting, weaving, fabric painting and batik. So rather than a last minute try and gather everything together, I've almost got myself sorted so that I can enjoy half-term with the girls. Phew!
