A matter of Life and........

Pepper the Cat proudly presented us with a gift today. As with Cats; seems like they have to play and "bat" to wear their prey down and tire them out and
derive some pleasure from letting them go only to catch them again.

I couldn't bear to see this little creature suffer; so I distracted Pepper to allow the mouse an escape to freedom (for now)....
