EU networking....

SWAN event tonight at the European Parliament Office. Hosted by Alyn Smith (lovely, personable, straight talking - 'shy weans get no sweeties'). He's the kind of politician than makes me think politicians are fab & for the people - his description of the Scottish MEPs cross party support for each other & their constituents was inspiring- & his arguments are impressive & intelligent.

As a supporter of equality, this network makes me happy & hopeful for the future of Scotland and Europe. And we inevitably discussed the iScotland in EU position - to me, everything is still possible, and positive (+ governments like stuff that makes them popular or is easy to implement).
