It came together - Panto week #2

Now you can see the opening scene properly and you will note the repairs have been done to the set, looks much better doesn't it! The show itself came together well ... yes, even the complicated chase scene! Why does it always wait until the dress rehearsal to come together? It does nothing for my stress level!

We did have a couple of accidents though. Just before we started we had a quick run through of the chase scene. I was just doing a run off stage when something snapped in my leg, a tendon or muscle or something. Found it very difficult and painful to walk after that. SO frustrating as mine is quite a physical part and I was really looking forward to doing it well. Now I can only hobble around! I'm hoping it will be better tomorrow but I will be scared of it doing it again.

Tomorrow it is for real! After tonight I don't think I want to say "Break a leg"!
