Big Song

A few years ago I used to pass Oran Mor, at the top end of Byres road, a couple of times a day.
'Big Song' has been a great addition to entertainment and socialising in the west end. It is certainly eye catching.
A Play, a Pie and a Pint was a great idea.
You would often see some of the biggest names of Scottish theatre appearing in new productions at lunchtime.
An inspirational idea that must have given many new writers some time in the lights and some very welcome money. And it worked for the audiences too.
I have also heard some excellent music here including Manran and a fabulous concert with Kathleen Mac Innes and the box playing genius Blair Douglas.
