Team Turkey funbles the puck!

Breaking news from Andover Olympic Stadium where the snow hockey competition is underway ... and it looks like the heavily favored Team Wild Turkey may be out of the medal race! Somehow, in the middle of the game, they managed to lose the puck, and things went downhill from there. Marvin and Hairy were seen searching in the snow for the missing puck, but to no avail. Eventually, all eleven team members were left to mill around aimlessly until the coach called the game. It remains to be seen if they will get their act together to play again during these Alternative Olympic Games.

Meanwhile, in other news, Team Junco's star flyer had an excellent solo performance. He was awarded the Silver Medal and he graciously took a bow while the other team members bowed in his presence.. Boy, I sure hope it doesn't all go to his head!

Team Downy Woodpecker took to the Balance Branch today and after a bit of a rocky start, Pedro pulled it off and had a great run! Then, Team White-breasted Nuthatch took to the High Beam, showing the unwavering discipline and laser-focus they are so known for, having an excellent routine.

In more mundane news ... your intrepid New Jersey reporter is bracing for yet another snowstorm tonight and tomorrow. Yes, folks, apparently the weather-gods have decreed that two plus feet of snow on the ground isn't enough and they've decided to send us another 3 to 6 inches. Halle-freaking-lujah.
