Knightswood pond.
Knightswood housing "scheme" was built in 1921 to alleviate the squalor of the tenements in Glasgow. The high rise flats were a much later addition, the houses of the time were mainly cottage type houses with considerably spacious gardens. A 69-hectare public park was included in the plan. I stop at this pond quite often to look at the swans and ducks and think how delighted the first tenants must have been when they saw the green space. The pond is bordered by a busy road but it doesn't stop the swans and ducks congregating on the pavement because they're so used to being fed by passers by, like myself.
