dreich

A Scottish word to describe today's weather.

Seriously dreich, in fact.

I hadn't been to the harbour for a while, so popped out for a coffee & scone mid afternoon.

Enjoyable to sit in the cafe warm and dry, looking out at the damp. I did venture to the end of the middle pier in search of an elusive Blip, and there it was.

Just the water, the rain, some boats and the boat club. Someone had the fire on inside the clubhouse (maybe you can see the smoke). Maybe having a cup of coffee and a scone, whilst pining for spring to arrive.
