Into the blue
It should have been a trip-round-the-M25, drive-another-new-car kind of a day. Instead, with deadlines colliding, I whipped up a perfect storm on the computer keys. So no time to spare for a creative blip. During a late afternoon vision-resting, caffeine-consuming session, my weary eyes were drawn to this gorgeous glow behind the beech tree.
It can only be a few weeks before our beautiful copper beech will be bursting into leaf, the sleepy squirrels will become more active again, and the badgers will be back for their regular evening dinner date on the patio. The sodden soil is already drying out a little. But then we're very lucky to live on a hill, not on a flood plain.
