MonoMonday: Chicago, early morning

This is a pre-dawn shot of Chicago, looking out towards Lake Michigan - if it looks odd in the background, that's because the lake is frozen to a fair distance out from the shore!

A few hours after this, the scene changed from b&w to w&w as it started snowing heavily - I could hardly see the buildings, let alone the lake. And...my flight today has been cancelled. So what was to have been a 2 hour "hop", is now a tortuous 7 hour routing that gets me to my destination after midnight. Oh joy!
