Resting In Peace

Today we came across this cemetery in quite a remote spot. A peaceful place, overlooking the beautiful Mediterranean Sea.

Behind me, as I took this photo, is a border point which divides the North and South. Armed guards watched us from the tower. I was going to take a photo but John told me I mustn't.

This area was a place of death and turmoil in 1974 when the Turks invaded.

Rest in Peace.
