Photinia. (Red Robin plant) New growth.

I have been out in the garden again taking some shots of new growth on some plants.

I took one of this plant a couple of days ago, but the shot I took of the Prunus won the day then, but since then the Photinia has emerged a little more so this shot is more interesting than my first attempt.

You will see there are some buds still quite tight to the right in the leaf node which is what most of the plant was two days ago.
One would think in this inclement weather there would not be much growth, but nature really is truly amazing.
