Raaaaaaarrr

Today, we had no plans, but somehow it seemed to turn into one if those busier than normal days. It started off with me in my soup kitchen, preparing enough pasta and chicken for work lunches until the end of the month. Then at 9am we headed off to the barbers for a long overdue haircut for the wee man... He has his dad's hair. Once it gets past a certain length there's just no taming it. I put it off as long as possible but today it had to be done. Usual traumatic experience at the barbers. Then a visit to the shops to pick up his bribe sorry, reward for being brave. Then for some stupid reason, I thought it would be a good idea to go swimming... On the first day of half term, when it's pouring down with rain. Sensible eh? To be fair, we had fun even though it was heaving, but the wee man did NOT want to get out, despite being so cold he was shivering and turning blue. This is the result!
