Inveraray

Back blipping today to catch up frim lack of reception. Spent a glorious Saturday in Edinburgh with some friends who are getting married this year, in what sounds like a HUGE wedding. They were very excited and we had a great time...so great a time I didnt take any pictures on what was actually a lovely day!

Sunday morning we were up and out early to Inverarary! And we were so lucky with the weather! Blue skies and snow capped mountains and not a breath of wind! The Rest and Be Thankful was glorious and Inverarary was sparkling. Calm and shiny Loch Fyne. We had a nice wander about, then a great pub lunch in the George Hotel. And this is my blip...the whole ceiling of this old bar is covered in these pretty coloured lights. Such a nice touch in a pretty dark, old bar. Thought this was a bit different from my hundreds of snowy mountain pictures.

After enjoying a nice Fyne Ale we retreated to our different hotel and had a swim and another ale and ate and drank and were merry. Excellent times. And even better when it is done on the super cheap with a 5pm voucher ;)
