Mike Mullican

Mike Mullican was a steam shovel, the main character in a childrens' book I remember reading again and again to the kids. Today we spotted him at work on the dike, sans the steam. We were really trying to spot birds, it's the Great Backyard Bird Count weekend here. Its a weekend when anyone can take part in numbering and identifying the birds they see, then reporting them. Mike Mullican was easier to capture on camera, so here he is!
