My my son-in-law and my daughter, living here on Saltspring. They played a crucial role in our move to Canada ten years ago. Here posing in the rain (!) outside our favourite café.

Yesterday night a heavy rainstorm passed here, and we had a power outage for several hours. In the morning it cleared up, but later in the afternoon a new heavy rainstorm hit us. Now at 5.30 PM the wind is howling around our house, and the rain is rattling at the windows. We had an early dinner, just in case a new outage would make it hard to prepare food.
